Shuttle Simulator was advertised as being a "realistic" simulation of operating the Space Shuttle, but I don't believe that is entirely accurate. On the other hand, it was a lot of fun, and basically had several mini-games merged into one program. The basic mission is to fly into space, recover a damaged satellite, and land back on earth.
In the first phase, you have to fly up into orbit, and position the shuttle by the satellite. In other phases, you must use the Canadarm to grab the satellite and bring it back into the docking bay, and then you have to fly back to earth and land safely.
The game was written in Extended BASIC, and was one of the better BASIC games.
