Saigon: The Final Days is a text adventure game based somewhat on historical fact, taking place in May of 1975. In it, you are trying to reach Saigon in order to be able to go home. The main author/programmer, Jyym Pearson was quite famous for his games on the TRS-80 Model I/III. His games from Adventure International were all text based, except the Apple II versions which had graphics added by Norman Sailer.
