Monster Maze is a clone of the arcade hit Berzerk, with some extra twists. First, in addition to killing the monsters in the maze, you must also collect treasures (this was also done in the Spectral Associates version of Berzerk, called Android Attack). The other is that you have rapid fire, and can let out a large of stream of shots, instead of the single shot like the original.
An interesting quirk to the game: If you face right or left and are right up to touching a wall with your hand (but not into it; in that case you will die), you can fire through the wall.
