Marathon is a hybrid Extended BASIC and Assembly language (for the smooth scrolling) that was published in the October 1983 Rainbow magazine. You have 4 sub-missions to navigate through (each scrolling in a different direction), where you have to dodge obstacles. In order, they are:
Sledding, flying, driving, and submarine.
The 16K version required running two programs: the first drew all the graphics, the 2nd actually ran the game.
