Lancer is a clone of the arcade hit Joust. It is a little harder, and not quite
as close to the arcade as Tom Mix's Buzzard Bait. I prefer the slower flight in this version, it just seems
to be more 'realistic' to me. Like the arcade, you can play one or two players, and simultaneously.
A later game based on Lancer (roughly the same game play, and a lot of the same sound routines) was
Pegasus and the Phantom Riders, also done by Spectral Associates, but licensed to Tandy, was
released two years later, although the author is listed as being different.
