Erland is the successor to Prickly-Pear Software's hit strategy game, Viking. Erland, unlike Viking, required 32K of RAM, and was a lot more sophisticated in what you could do to build up your kingdom. Erland requires at least 2 players, and allows up to 5, unlike Computer Shack's game of a similiar vein, Castle Greymoon, which was single player only. Erland also added the option of saving a game in progress, unlike either of the other two.
