Eliminator, which is kind of a combination of Scramble and Defender, was originally written on the TRS-80 Model I/III. It is a fast paced arcade game, where you are constantly flying to the right, although you can manouvre in all 4 directions within the screen. You have to keep track of your shields and fuel, and you gain more fuel by shooting some of the ground targets (ala Scramble). You also have to shoot the alien ships, and your firing angle is based on your ship's angle at the time of firing (different than both arcade games). Also, some ships are carrying trapped humans; once you shoot the alien, you have to try to catch the human for bonus points (ala Defender). This game was not too well known in the Coco world, as Adventure International had stopped advertising in Coco magazines by the time it came out (although, it did appear in their catalog).
