El Diablero is a machine language text adventure game, based on the Casteneda books. It is the only text adventure game that Ken Kalish did, although he has stated that he wished he could have done more. It is a fairly difficult adventure game; not for the beginning adventurer.
Some people have mentioned to me that the arrow key routine (used to go North, South, etc.) is actually latched into the BASIC interpreter itself; if you RESET after playing the game, it is still active. I haven't actually tried this myself.
