City is an original arcade game, where you pilot a helicopter, and try to defend the city below you by shooting the aliens coming in from the top of the screen. You have the option of manual firing (you are only allowed one shot on the screen at once), or auto-firing. You can only fire left or right. Also, a rather cute "stomping foot" shape comes down at a much higher speed, to crush the cities beneath it. The game also has the instructions built into the sideways scrolling title on the opening screen.
