Championship Bowling is one of Mike Lustig's very first Coco games, written in BASIC in May of 1982 (and before he switched to machine language and did things like Moon Hopper and other games). This game has support for 1 or 2 players (including a computer player), and features a pseudo 3D display. You use the joystick to pick the launch site of the ball, and hit the button to launch it. There appears to be some randomness applied to hitting pins. It redraws the pins to show which ones were knocked down, and does I nice animation of the bar moving to clean up the pins. It also has a nice display for the scores as they progress. Even with the double speed POKE, it runs a little slow, but is a good attempt for BASIC.
