Battle Hymn - The Battle of Gettysburg is another of Ark Royal Games wartime simulation games, in this case based on the Battle of Gettysburg from the Civil War. Being one of the later titles for the Coco 1/2, it has full PMODE 4 graphics and color (instead or the low resolution or text only type displays that they had in their earlier efforts), as well as some sound effects in machine language. This one also had a save/resume game feature, even on cassette. In it, you control General Lee's army, starting on the second day of the battle, with the player trying to accomplish 5 objectives to win. At any time, you can hit keys to show direction that enemy troops are facing (showing by a number), and field of fire (firing range), shown by '+' symbols. The reviewer from Rainbow magazine that added that is quite realistic, taking into consideration stamina, based on fatigue, etc. of troops not resting or in route.
