Yes, we did release a Color Computer version of Star Trek. It was the only version ever done in color and it had the best graphics in my opinion and some nice sound effects, too. I don't remember us releasing anything else for the Color Computer although we did have a few ideas in mind. I don't mind if you release the program for download. However, as I have cautioned others, Paramount Pictures owns trademarks and copyrights to the title "Star Trek" as well as the characters. So, if you do release the program for download, you'll have to decide if you want to remove all reference to Paramount Picture's property, or leave them in as they are and take a chance that nobody will notice. If you do leave the "Star Trek" name and characters in the program and Paramount finds out, most likely the only thing that will happen is that you will receive a cease and desist letter, written by a hostile lawyer, who will threaten to take you to court if you don't stop. If it ever gets to that point, you'd better stop. They have a lot of lawyers with plenty of money to spend. Until that happens, they are not likely to do much more than that unless you are making millions of dollars on this thing. If I can help you out in any other way, or if you have other questions, feel free to ask. I'll try to be more timely in my response. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and that the new year started out great for you.
