Yep, that's me! I'm sorry I don't remember meeting you... there were lots of faces at rainbowfest. I misspoke in my original email- I do have some of the binaries (in fact I have copies of all the original disks), but they are on copy-protected disks and don't run on the current crop of emulators. Hence, I wanted to find pirate versions and just post those. Defendroid never got finished. The demand for it was so weak we just didn't bother. A pity- we had some really cool compiled bitmap code that really made it fly. I do occasionally still talk to Dave, but he's kinda unreliable about responding to email these days :-). We now live about 2000 miles apart, so it can be pretty hard to stay in touch. -Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: "Curtis Boyle" To: "Distant Systems Staff" Sent: Sunday, August 04, 2002 11:15 AM Subject: Re: Coco games from Oblique Triad > > Distant Systems Staff wrote: > > > > Hi Curtis! > > > > I wrote the Oblique Triad coco games (see > > http://www.distantsystems.com/personal/jeff/coco.htm), and I'd like to > > release them for public consumption. > > > > Trouble is, I don't have any of the binaries! > > > > I've seen some screen shots of a few of my titles here and there that > > look like they were taken from an emulator running on the PC.
