Curtis Boyle" Curtis, You may make available for download any of my Coco games or other Coco programs that I wrote. Sorry to say, but all of the source code for these programs was lost to the effects of time on floppy disks, or I would have made that available too. You can send a list of questions about these games, if you wish, and I will try to answer them to the best of my memory (faded as it has these past 23 years). I will say, though, that the two years or so that I spent writing Coco software were some of the best I ever had. Back when I didn't want to quit for the night, and couldn't wait to get back at it in the morning. Back when I felt programming was fun, and every byte saved mattered. When you would count up the clock cycles of a routine, trying to shave one clock, just one more! Back when I not only hung out at an arcade, but worked there too, just to be around the games. Now my kids want me to play Final Fantasy XVIIXIV with them, and I just shake my head, "Nah, I hate video games". If only they could have seen me then. Sigh. Makes me feel old. But then, wasn't that in the Subject: line of your e-mail... Coco games. Chris Latham P.S. Where do you know Ada from? -----Original Message----- From: L. I run the Coco games site (http://nitros9.stg.net/coco_game_list.html), and I was wondering if you would be willing to let your games (Donkey King, Sailor Man, Nucleaur Reactor Simulator) be made available for download, as some other author's have done. Also, even without that, is there any corrections and/or stories about the games you wrote that you would like put on the website? Thanks for your time! -- L. Curtis Boyle
