Notes for Henry Alfred “Harry” WILLIAMS

There is a record of Henry going to Flint, Michigan on January 15, 1910, (age 16) where he is listed as a hardware clerk, and his contact is an Uncle William Bremer (who lived in Brantford, Ontario). It states that he was going to see his father John Williams, who lived in Flint at the time. It also shows that he lived in Flint for 2&1/2 years, until September 1909. He is described as being 5’6&1/2” tall, fair complexion, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Harry registered for the USA draft on June 7, 1917. At the time, he was living at 460 East Jefferson in Detroit, and was the proprietor of a Pool Room at 217 Franklin Street. It indicates that he was married at the time, but it also states his eye color was blue.
