Notes for William Frederick Thomas “Frederick” STORY

There is a tombstone in the Beechwood Cemetery (Ottawa), that has a “William F.T. Story - son of L. & T. Story Died Oct. 20, 1942 aged 79 years”. Since an uncle (George) and sister (Olive Emma) are both buried here as well, the “F.” may be Frederick.

William was living in Montreal at the time of his mother’s death in 1920.

There is a record of him crossing over to the USA on May 5 1925 (in Montreal), working as a lumber merchant, heading to New York City (he was living in Montreal at the time). It was filled in that he was planning on staying there. He is described as being 5 foot 8, single, medium complexion, with brown hair and grey eyes. He had a non-quota immigration Visa from Montreal, dated May 4, 1925 with him.
