No Eliza Story shows up in the 1851 (1852) census - she had either passed away or was married by then.

There is a marriage of an Eliza Story with Peter Saver in Matilda Township, Dundas County, from Jan. 27, 1841, but I don’t know if this is the correct person or not. If it is, they were still living Matilda township in the 1861 census, and her full name was Eliza Jane. Peter was of german descent, age 54, and Eliza Jane was of Irish descent, age 48, which would put the birth date near 1811 (too early, in all liklihood).

The 1871 census also lists a 45 year old Elizabeth Johnston, from Ireland, in the Manvers, Durham East District, with a “Schedule 2: deaths in the preceding twelve months ending 2 Apr 1871” note attached, which indicates that she died in 1870/1871.
